After graduating from Notre Dame and being commissioned in the U.S. Navy, Jack received his Naval Flight Officer wings in 1978. He was assigned to an F-14 squadron in San Diego and made two deployments to the western Pacific, logging over 300 carrier landings aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk.
Jack began his law studies while still serving on active duty in Washington, D.C. He remains active in community service, is a frequent contributor to The Columbus Dispatch op-ed section and writes about social justice issues in his blog.
John Gonzales is a trial lawyer with more than 100 jury trials.
John, often called Gonzo, tries cases, mediates disputes and represents attorneys and other professionals before boards of professional conduct.
John is credited with having the largest verdict recorded in Pickaway County, Ohio, at $4.5 million. He’s a certified civil trial lawyer, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was recognized as a “Respected Advocate Award” by the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
For years, John taught general practice at Capital University Law School and has published numerous articles regarding trial practice. He graduated from Marshall University in 1984 and from Capital University Law School in 1987.
